Over the past several years, the United States’ PISA and standardized test scores have been falling behind the scores of other countries. However, one of the countries that has unexpectedly seen an increase in scores is Finland. What is their secret?
The reason why Finland’s education has improved so greatly is because they have changed their focus. Instead of drilling students with standardized tests, they give students what they really need and crave: a nurturing environment where they can learn at their own pace.
