ESSA, Historical Antecedents & the Future of Education

Standardized testing has been a topic of much debate in American education. President George W. Bush passed a controversial law during his administration that made testing more prominent than ever. However, before leaving office, President Obama passed the ESSA Regulations that may make testing procedures a little less strict for students in the United States.
