English. It is known as one of the most confusing and most difficult languages to learn. This, in my opinion, is partially because of the myriad amount of words that sound alike, but have different meanings. Even the most advanced English students sometimes still get mixed up when it comes to certain words.
Below is an article I wrote for Spoken English Practice, explaining some of the most commonly confused words in the English language. The article is business-themed and is written for non-native English speakers. HOWEVER! No matter your level of English expertise, looking over this list can be very beneficial.
