Part of a teacher’s job is classroom management. However, this can be extremely difficult if the students do not have the skills to control their behavior. Sometimes there are students who just want to cause trouble, but other times, students may have experienced some kind of trauma that affects their emotions and the way they interact with others.
To help children who have gone through severe trauma, universities have developed a model called CLEAR (Collaborative Learning for Educational Achievement and Resilience). The model is meant to provide social emotional learning to a child and help them overcome their difficulties socializing with others.
